The Jordan Fund announced today that it has made an investment in Al-Isra Education & Investment Company.  Al-Isra is a holding company which operates Al-Isra Private University, a university providing four-year undergraduate degrees to nearly 7,000 Jordanian and foreign students.  The university operates from a 400 dunum campus located a few kilometers south of Amman.

In conjunction with the investment, Nashat Masri will join the board of directors of the Company and the board of trustees of the University.

Nashat Masri stated, “The field of higher education is booming in Jordan, with strong demand for private educational institutions.  Al-Isra is well-positioned to take advantage of this demand and to offer students a strong educational experience on a campus designed to enhance the community aspects of university life.”
